Problem

Cross-country comparisons collapse complex social outcomes into raw rankings that often reward scale or wealth. I wanted to test a more explicit model and make the assumptions inspectable rather than hide them behind one score.

What I built

I combined public datasets from UNDP, UNIDO and OECD, built the normalization and weighting model, documented its limitations, and turned the result into an explorable web visualization.
